Terms of Service
Last updated 14 October 2026
These terms apply when your business uses Ripic. In short: you pay month to month, you can leave whenever you like, your domain and your content stay yours, and we look after your website and online presence while you're with us.
1. The service
Depending on your plan, Ripic designs and hosts a website for your business and helps manage your online presence — for example your Google Business Profile, reviews and monthly reporting. The features of each plan are listed on our pricing and may improve over time.
2. Free previews
A preview is a draft website we make, free and with no obligation, from your business's public information. It isn't published to search engines. If you'd like it taken down, tell us and we'll remove it.
3. Fees and payment
- Plans are charged monthly in advance, in Australian dollars. A one-off setup fee applies unless it's waived for your plan.
- Ripic is not currently registered for GST, so our prices don't include GST.
- If a payment is more than 14 days overdue, we may pause the service after letting you know.
4. Cancelling
Plans are month to month. You can cancel at any time by emailing us; the service continues until the end of the period you've paid for. Annual plans are paid upfront for the year. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
5. Your domain and your content
- Your domain name is registered in your business's name. If you leave, we help you transfer it.
- You own the content you give us (text, photos, logos, prices). You confirm you have the right to use it and that it's accurate — including any licence numbers your trade must display.
- If you leave, we'll export your content, reviews data we hold and the list of enquiries we received for you.
- Our designs, templates and software remain ours; you may use them for your website while you're subscribed.
6. What we don't promise
We work to improve how easily customers find and choose you, and we report the results every month. Nobody can guarantee a particular ranking on Google or other search services, and we don't. We aim to keep your website online at all times but can't guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Acceptable use
You won't use the service for anything unlawful, misleading or harmful. We may remove content or end the service if that happens, after contacting you where reasonable.
8. Liability
We provide the service with due care and skill. Guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law can't be excluded. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim.
9. Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes and general
If we change these terms, we'll tell current clients at least 30 days before the change applies to them. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
